Everytime your ninja reaches a new level, you get 3 skill points to spend on developing your ninja. How you spend these points has a great effect on how your ninja develops later on. Choosing the right strategy for spending your skill points helps your ninja gain a big advantage over others in the game.
Let’s first take a quick look at the different ways you can spend your skill points.
- Attack: Increases the attack power of your ninja by 1. Costs 1 skill point.
- Defense: Increases the defense ability of your ninja by 1. Costs 1 skill point.
- Max Energy: Increases the energy for your ninja to do missions by 10. Costs 1 skill point.
- Max Health: Increases the max health of your ninja by 10. Costs 1 skill point.
- Max Stamina: Increases the number of times your ninja can fight before fatigue by 1. Costs 2 skill points.
The way you should spend your skill points should match your style of play in the game. In terms of style of play, people tend to fall into one of two categories: attacking or defensive.
Skill Point Strategy for Attackers
If you are developing into an attacking ninja, you should spend the majority of your skill points on increasing your Attack. Over time, when your ninja reaches higher levels you will have accumulated a significant amount of attack points, giving you an insurmountable advantage over other ninjas who spent their skill points on other attributes.
You should spend the remainder of your skill points on Max Stamina, giving your ninja the ability to attack continuously without stopping. Follow this strategy and you’re on your way to developing a ninja that can wreak havoc on anyone who crosses your path.
Skill Point Strategy for Defensive Players
Defensive players typically are not interested in constantly attacking rival clans. They set themselves up with strong defensive dojos to ward off enemy attackers and then uses missions to gain experience points and quickly progress to higher levels.
If your style of play is defensive, you should spend the majority of your skill points on Defense. At higher levels, your ninja will have supreme defensive abilities over others. Combine that with a dojo focusing on defense and you will be able to ward off the most powerful attacks from rival clans.
Well, that’s it for now. Hope you found this post useful and if you have any questions, please feel free to post a comment below so that other ninjas in the Academy can help. Happy hunting, ninjas!

Actually Health now only costs 1 skill point, whereas stamina costs 2.
